MilanoMeravigli is a permanent open call that consists in four sessions; each time it will reward the photograph that best represents the city of Milan. It's a free entry award and it is open to every photographer without any limitation of age or nationality. The pictures can be unpublished or already existing; the one and only rule is that they must show Milan as their main subject.

The four-awarded photographs will be selected by a jury formed by experts in the field and by influential people of the city. They will receive an economic reward of 1.000 euros and will be shown in large format on Forma windowpanes of Galleria Meravigli. At the end of the exhibition the print will be given to the author.
The setup will be completed by a historic photograph of the city realized by some of the masters of photography who have visually described the city of Milan during their careers.

The winner of the first Open Call is Francesco Falciola. His photograph of Le colonne di San Lorenzo is shown next to a Gianni Berengo Gardin’s picture.

• from 1 up to 3 digital images (colour or black & white):
  • jpg format, 72 dpi resolution, short side 1080 pixel;
  • maximum weight 3 MB each;
  • all the files must be accompanied by a caption, filling in the designed area.
